Team-M8tes Safety Guidelines Effective Date: April 25, 2026 Team-M8tes is designed to help sports fans connect through shared team loyalty, game-day energy, and real human connection. These Safety Guidelines are here to help users communicate, meet, and interact more safely while using Team-M8tes. This applies to our website, mobile application, platform, profiles, matching features, messaging features, subscription features, community features, communications, and related services. Team-M8tes is operated by SNG LABS LLC. In these Safety Guidelines, “Team-M8tes,” “SNG LABS,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to SNG LABS LLC. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing or using Team-M8tes. These Safety Guidelines should be read together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Disclaimer, and any other policies we make available. By using Team-M8tes, you agree to use good judgment, respect other users, and take responsibility for your own safety. 1. Use Good Judgment Team-M8tes is a social and dating platform. We provide tools to help users discover, match, and communicate with other sports fans, but we do not control what users say, do, or choose to share. You are responsible for your own decisions when communicating with, meeting, or sharing information with other users. Always use caution, trust your instincts, and take steps to protect yourself. 2. No Safety Guarantee Team-M8tes does not guarantee the identity, background, intentions, honesty, character, health, criminal history, relationship status, availability, or conduct of any user. Unless we clearly state otherwise in writing, Team-M8tes does not conduct comprehensive criminal background checks, identity checks, employment checks, address checks, or personal-history checks on users. A shared team, match, message, profile, photo, or compatibility signal does not mean that a person is safe, honest, trustworthy, or compatible. You are responsible for deciding whether, when, and how to interact with another user. 3. Protect Your Personal Information Be careful about sharing personal information with people you meet through Team-M8tes. Avoid sharing sensitive information too quickly, including: • Your home address. • Your workplace address. • Your school address. • Your daily routine. • Your financial information. • Your Social Security number. • Your government identification. • Your banking information. • Your passwords or verification codes. • Private family information. • Sensitive photos or videos. • Information that could allow someone to locate or impersonate you. Never share login codes, password reset links, authentication codes, payment information, or account access information with another user. Team-M8tes will never ask for your password through a message from another user. 4. Keep Conversations on Team-M8tes at First When getting to know someone new, consider keeping conversations on Team-M8tes until you feel comfortable. Be cautious if someone quickly pressures you to move the conversation to text, social media, email, messaging apps, payment apps, or another platform. Moving off-platform may make it harder for Team-M8tes to review reports, investigate issues, or take action if something goes wrong. 5. Watch for Scam Behavior Do not send money, gifts, gift cards, cryptocurrency, payment app transfers, tickets, financial help, or banking information to someone you meet on Team-M8tes. Be cautious if someone: • Asks for money or financial help. • Claims to have an emergency and needs payment. • Offers investment, crypto, betting, ticketing, or business opportunities. • Sends suspicious links. • Pressures you to buy something. • Tries to sell you tickets, merchandise, subscriptions, or access. • Asks for gift cards or payment app transfers. • Refuses to meet or video chat after building trust. • Gives inconsistent stories about who they are. • Moves the conversation off-platform quickly. • Asks for personal documents, codes, passwords, or financial details. Report suspicious behavior to Team-M8tes. 6. Be Careful With Links and Files Do not click suspicious links or download unexpected files from users. Links or files may lead to phishing pages, malware, scams, fake login pages, fake ticket offers, or other harmful destinations. Be especially cautious with links related to: • Tickets. • Streaming. • Betting. • Crypto. • Giveaways. • Contests. • Merchandise. • Payment apps. • Account verification. • Outside login pages. If something feels suspicious, do not click it. 7. Respect Boundaries Respect other users’ boundaries. If someone does not respond, says no, unmatches, blocks you, or asks you to stop contacting them, stop contacting them. Do not pressure, guilt, threaten, harass, shame, or manipulate another user. You may not use Team-M8tes to stalk, intimidate, abuse, bully, exploit, or repeatedly contact someone who does not want to engage. Healthy connections require mutual interest and consent. 8. Sexual Content and Consent Do not send unwanted sexual messages, explicit images, intimate content, or sexually aggressive communications. Do not request, share, threaten to share, or distribute intimate images or private sexual content without clear consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Never pressure someone for sexual content, sexual activity, private photos, personal details, or offline meetings. Team-M8tes may remove accounts that engage in sexual harassment, coercion, exploitation, non-consensual sharing, or other unsafe behavior. 9. Plan First Meetings Carefully If you decide to meet someone in person, take precautions. Consider the following safety steps: • Meet in a public place. • Choose a location where other people are present. • Tell a trusted friend or family member where you are going. • Share your plans with someone you trust. • Arrange your own transportation. • Keep your phone charged. • Do not rely on the other person for transportation. • Avoid going to a private home, hotel room, isolated area, or unfamiliar location for a first meeting. • Leave if you feel uncomfortable. • Trust your instincts. You are never obligated to stay on a date, at a meetup, or in a conversation if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable. 10. Game-Day, Bar, Tailgate, and Event Safety Team-M8tes may help users connect around games, stadiums, arenas, bars, watch parties, tailgates, and sporting events. Use extra caution in crowded, high-energy, or alcohol-centered environments. When meeting at or around sports events: • Meet in public, well-lit areas. • Be aware of crowds and exits. • Watch your drink and belongings. • Do not leave personal items unattended. • Arrange your own transportation. • Avoid driving under the influence. • Follow venue, stadium, arena, bar, restaurant, and local rules. • Avoid fights, harassment, trespassing, or disruptive behavior. • Leave the area if a situation feels unsafe. Team-M8tes does not control venues, public spaces, bars, restaurants, stadiums, arenas, tailgates, transportation, or third-party events. 11. Alcohol, Substances, and Impaired Judgment Be cautious with alcohol, cannabis, or other substances when meeting someone. Substances can affect judgment, communication, consent, and safety. Do not pressure another user to drink, use substances, or stay in a situation where they feel uncomfortable. Do not drive while impaired. Do not use Team-M8tes to coordinate illegal substance activity or unsafe behavior. 12. Transportation Safety Arrange your own transportation when meeting someone for the first time. Avoid depending on a new match for rides, pickups, drop-offs, or transportation home. Consider using your own car, public transportation, rideshare, taxi, or a trusted friend. Do not share your home address until you feel safe and comfortable. 13. Protect Your Account Keep your Team-M8tes account secure. You should: • Use a strong password. • Do not reuse passwords from other sites. • Do not share your password. • Do not share verification codes. • Log out on shared devices. • Be cautious of fake Team-M8tes emails or messages. • Contact us if you believe your account has been compromised. Team-M8tes will not ask for your password in a message from another user. 14. Reporting Users If you see behavior that feels suspicious, unsafe, abusive, deceptive, or inappropriate, report it to Team-M8tes. You should report users who: • Harass, threaten, or abuse others. • Send unwanted sexual content. • Ask for money or financial help. • Send suspicious links. • Impersonate someone else. • Use fake or stolen photos. • Misrepresent their age or identity. • Promote scams, fraud, illegal betting, or illegal activity. • Pressure users to meet or move off-platform. • Share private information without permission. • Violate our Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, or other rules. Blocking and Unmatching If another user makes you uncomfortable, you may choose to block, unmatch, ignore, or stop communicating with that user. You do not need to explain your decision to another user. If someone continues contacting you after you have blocked, unmatched, or asked them to stop, report the behavior to Team-M8tes. 16. Emergency Situations Team-M8tes is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, believe someone else is in immediate danger, or need urgent help, contact local emergency services right away. In the United States, call 911 for emergencies. If you are outside the United States, contact your local emergency number. After you are safe, you may also report the issue to Team-M8tes. 17. Mental Health and Crisis Support Team-M8tes is not a mental health, crisis, medical, or counseling service. If you or someone else may be at risk of self-harm, suicide, or immediate danger, contact emergency services or a crisis support line immediately. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If you are outside the United States, contact local emergency services or a local crisis support resource. 18. No Off-Platform Harassment Do not use information from Team-M8tes to harass, shame, threaten, expose, embarrass, or target another user off-platform. You may not post, publish, screenshot, record, distribute, or share another user’s profile, messages, photos, private information, or conversations without permission. This includes sharing content on social media, group chats, forums, message boards, or other websites. 19. Respect Venue and Event Rules If you attend a game, event, watch party, tailgate, bar, restaurant, stadium, arena, or other venue, you are responsible for following all applicable rules. This includes: • Venue rules. • Ticketing rules. • Security instructions. • Local laws. • Alcohol rules. • Parking and transportation rules. • Conduct policies. • Team, league, or event rules. Team-M8tes is not responsible for your conduct at third-party locations or events. 20. Use Team-M8tes Responsibly Team-M8tes is built to support authentic connection through sports fandom. You agree to use the platform in a way that is respectful, lawful, honest, and safe. Do not use Team-M8tes to exploit, deceive, pressure, harass, or harm others. Do not use Team-M8tes to bypass subscriptions, manipulate team locks, create fake accounts, or misuse the platform. 21. Our Safety Actions Team-M8tes may take action when we believe behavior violates our Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, Safety Guidelines, or other policies. Actions may include: • Warning a user. • Removing content. • Limiting visibility. • Restricting messaging. • Suspending an account. • Deactivating or deleting an account. • Blocking an email address, IP address, device, payment method, or account. • Preserving information for safety, legal, fraud-prevention, or enforcement purposes. • Reporting illegal or dangerous activity to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate. We are not required to monitor every profile, message, or interaction. We cannot guarantee that we will identify or remove every unsafe user or violation. 22. Changes to These Safety Guidelines We may update these Safety Guidelines from time to time. When we update them, we will revise the effective date above. We may also provide notice by email, website notice, in-app message, or other reasonable means where appropriate. Your continued use of Team-M8tes after updated Safety Guidelines become effective means you acknowledge the updated Safety Guidelines. 23.
