This applies to our website, mobile application, platform, profiles, matching features, messaging features, subscription features, community features, communications, marketing materials, and related services. Team-M8tes is operated by SNG LABS LLC. In this notice, “Team-M8tes,” “SNG LABS,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to SNG LABS LLC. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing or using Team-M8tes. Sports Names, Logos, Marks, and Other Rights Sports team names, league names, athlete names, player names, coach names, university names, conference names, venue names, stadium names, arena names, logos, marks, colors, uniforms, mascots, designs, slogans, statistics, images, photographs, video, audio, and other related materials may be protected by trademark, copyright, publicity rights, privacy rights, database rights, contract rights, or other legal rights. Those rights belong to their respective owners. Team-M8tes does not claim ownership of third-party sports names, logos, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, publicity rights, or other intellectual property unless expressly stated. All third-party names, logos, trademarks, service marks, and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners. 3. Fan-Focused Use Team-M8tes is built around sports fandom. Users may be able to select teams, discuss teams, identify as fans, filter by team loyalty, match with other fans, or express fan preferences. These uses are intended to help users describe their own fandom and connect with others based on shared sports interests. Team-M8tes’ use of team names, league names, athlete names, venue names, or other sports-related references is intended for identification, fan-interest, compatibility, informational, commentary, community, or nominative purposes. These references do not imply official endorsement, sponsorship, approval, license, partnership, or affiliation. 4. No Confusion or False Affiliation You may not use Team-M8tes in a way that falsely suggests an official relationship with any team, league, athlete, venue, brand, or other organization. You may not: • Claim that your profile, account, group, message, event, offer, promotion, or content is officially affiliated with a team, league, athlete, venue, or brand unless that is true and authorized. • Impersonate a team, league, athlete, coach, venue, broadcaster, player association, university, conference, sponsor, media company, or official representative. • Use logos, marks, names, uniforms, or branded materials in a way that creates confusion about sponsorship, endorsement, approval, or affiliation. • Sell or promote counterfeit merchandise, fake tickets, unauthorized experiences, or misleading sports-related offers. • Misrepresent yourself as a team employee, league representative, athlete, agent, coach, venue official, ticketing representative, media member, or brand partner. • Use Team-M8tes to damage, impersonate, confuse, dilute, or misuse the identity of any sports organization, athlete, venue, or brand. 5. User-Uploaded Content Users are responsible for the content they upload, post, send, display, or otherwise provide through Team-M8tes. This includes profile photos, bios, messages, prompts, screenshots, images, graphics, videos, links, comments, and other materials. You may not upload or use content that violates another person’s or organization’s rights. This includes content that infringes or misuses: • Trademarks. • Copyrights. • Publicity rights. • Privacy rights. • Image rights. • Name, image, and likeness rights. • Contract rights. • Ticketing rights. • Licensing rights. • Other legal rights. Team-M8tes may remove, restrict, reject, or review user content at our discretion if we believe it violates this notice, our Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, our DMCA / Copyright Policy, or applicable law. 6. Team Logos, Uniforms, and Branded Images Users should be careful when uploading photos or images that include team logos, league logos, uniforms, mascots, branded signs, venue marks, merchandise, broadcast screenshots, or other protected materials. Some incidental appearances may occur naturally in fan photos or game-day settings. However, you may not use branded materials in a way that: • Falsely implies official affiliation. • Misleads users about sponsorship or approval. • Promotes unauthorized commercial activity. • Uses another party’s intellectual property without permission. • Violates applicable law. • Violates the rights of a team, league, athlete, venue, brand, broadcaster, photographer, or other rights holder. 7. Tickets, Merchandise, and Promotions Team-M8tes is not a ticketing platform, merchandise seller, league partner, team partner, or official fan club unless we clearly state otherwise in writing. You may not use Team-M8tes to: • Sell fake tickets. • Sell counterfeit merchandise. • Promote unauthorized merchandise. • Promote unauthorized experiences. • Claim access to official team, league, venue, or athlete events without authorization. • Run promotions that falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement, or approval by a team, league, athlete, venue, or brand. • Use team or league marks in a way that violates rights or laws. If Team-M8tes offers or displays third-party promotions, ticketing links, venue offers, merchandise offers, or partner content in the future, those offers may be subject to separate terms from the applicable third party. 8. Athletes, Publicity Rights, and Name, Image, and Likeness Athlete names, images, likenesses, signatures, statistics, and other identifying characteristics may be protected by publicity rights, privacy rights, contract rights, intellectual property rights, or other laws. You may not use Team-M8tes to impersonate an athlete, claim endorsement by an athlete, misappropriate an athlete’s likeness, or use athlete identity in a misleading, unauthorized, or unlawful way. References to athletes for fan-interest, commentary, informational, or compatibility purposes do not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, approval, or participation by that athlete. 9. College Teams, Universities, and Conferences College team names, university names, conference names, school logos, mascots, colors, and related marks may be protected by trademark, copyright, publicity, licensing, and other rights. Unless we clearly state otherwise in writing, Team-M8tes is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, approved by, licensed by, or officially connected to any university, college, conference, athletic department, student-athlete, alumni association, or collegiate sports organization. References to college teams, universities, or conferences are for identification, fan-interest, compatibility, informational, commentary, community, or nominative purposes only. 10. No Official Status From Team Selection Selecting a team on Team-M8tes does not create any official relationship with that team. A team selection does not mean: • You are verified by that team. • You are endorsed by that team. • You are affiliated with that team. • You are a member of an official fan club. • You receive official team benefits. • Team-M8tes has a partnership with that team. • The team has approved your profile or use of Team-M8tes. Team selection is a platform feature used for fandom identity, compatibility, matching, discovery, and user experience. 11. Reports From Rights Holders If you are a rights holder and believe content on Team-M8tes violates your trademark, copyright, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights, you may contact us.
