Team-M8tes Subscription & Billing Policy

Effective Date: April 25, 2026

This Subscription & Billing Policy explains how subscriptions, free trials, billing, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, refunds, promotional access, and team limits work on Team-M8tes.

This applies to our website, mobile application, platform, profiles, matching features, messaging features, subscription features, community features, communications, and related services.

Team-M8tes is operated by SNG LABS LLC.

In this Subscription & Billing Policy, “Team-M8tes,” “SNG LABS,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to SNG LABS LLC. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing or using Team-M8tes.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Disclaimer, Safety Guidelines, and any other policies we make available.

By subscribing, starting a trial, using paid features, receiving promotional access, or otherwise using Team-M8tes, you agree to this Subscription & Billing Policy.

1. Subscription-Based Access

Team-M8tes may offer certain features through paid subscriptions.

Subscription access may include features such as profile access, team selection, locked fandom choices, matching, browsing, discovery, messaging, filtering, visibility, account features, or other platform features.

Available subscription plans, pricing, team limits, features, and billing periods are displayed in Team-M8tes at the time of signup, checkout, or account management.

We may add, remove, modify, rename, repackage, or discontinue subscription plans or features at any time, subject to applicable law.

2. Subscription Tiers and Team Limits

Team-M8tes uses team-based subscription tiers.

Current Team-M8tes plans may include:

• Casual Plan: Up to 2 selected teams.
• Dedicated Plan: Up to 4 selected teams.
• Die-Hard Plan: Up to 8 selected teams.

Plan names, pricing, included features, and team limits may change over time.

The plan details shown in Team-M8tes at the time of checkout or account management control your subscription.

Your selected teams may affect matching, discovery, filters, visibility, and other platform features.

3. Locked Team Selections

A core feature of Team-M8tes is locked team selection.

Once you choose and lock a team, you may not be able to remove, swap, or change that team freely.

This system is designed to support trust, authenticity, identity consistency, and platform integrity.

You are responsible for choosing teams carefully before confirming or locking them.

Team-M8tes may deny or restrict attempts to manipulate team selections, bypass team limits, rotate teams, or use subscription changes to avoid the locked-team system.

4. Free Trials

Team-M8tes may offer a free trial to new users or eligible users.

If a free trial is offered, the length, terms, access level, and eligibility requirements will be shown in Team-M8tes or otherwise communicated to you.

A free trial may allow temporary access to paid features before a paid subscription begins.

Unless otherwise stated, continued access to paid features after the trial ends may require a paid subscription.

We may modify, extend, shorten, limit, revoke, or discontinue free trial offers at any time, subject to applicable law.

Free trials may be limited to one per user, email address, payment method, device, household, or account.

We may deny or remove trial access if we believe there is fraud, abuse, duplicate account creation, payment manipulation, or other misuse.

5. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Team-M8tes or its payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for applicable subscription fees, taxes, and other charges.

Your renewal date, billing period, plan, and subscription status may be shown in your account settings, billing portal, checkout confirmation, receipt, app store subscription settings, or other subscription management tools.

You are responsible for reviewing your subscription status and canceling before renewal if you do not want to continue.

6. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe, app stores, or other payment processors.

Team-M8tes does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers.

By submitting payment information, you authorize our payment processor to collect, process, and store payment information according to its own terms and privacy policy.

Payment processors may collect information such as billing name, billing address, payment card details, payment method, transaction history, tax information, and fraud-prevention signals.

We are not responsible for payment processor outages, delays, declines, verification issues, or third-party payment policies, except as required by law.

7. Taxes and Fees

Subscription prices may not include taxes, fees, or charges unless clearly stated.

You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, platform fees, app store fees, currency conversion fees, bank fees, or other charges associated with your subscription.

Where required, taxes may be calculated and charged by Team-M8tes, our payment processor, an app store, or another third-party provider.

8. Upgrades

You may be able to upgrade your subscription plan.

An upgrade may give you access to additional features, increased team limits, or additional team slots.

For example, upgrading from a lower-tier plan to a higher-tier plan may allow you to add more locked teams, depending on the plan.

Upgrade pricing, timing, prorations, credits, or immediate charges may depend on the payment processor, billing platform, app store, subscription settings, and applicable law.

When you upgrade, your previously locked teams generally remain locked.

Additional team slots may allow you to add new teams, but they do not necessarily allow you to remove, swap, or change previously locked teams.

9. Downgrades

You may be able to downgrade your subscription plan.

A downgrade may reduce your available features, team limits, visibility, matching access, messaging access, filters, or other subscription-based functionality.

Because Team-M8tes uses locked team selections, downgrading may not automatically remove previously locked teams or allow you to freely rotate teams.

If your locked team count exceeds the limit of your downgraded plan, Team-M8tes may:

• Limit the number of active teams.
• Deactivate certain teams for matching or visibility.
• Restrict discovery based on the lower plan.
• Prevent new team selections until your active team count matches your plan.
• Limit features connected to teams above your plan limit.
• Require administrative support to resolve team-limit issues.
• Apply other controls to protect platform integrity.

Team-M8tes may determine how downgrades affect locked teams, active teams, visibility, matching, and access.

10. Active Teams and Inactive Teams

Team-M8tes may distinguish between locked teams, active teams, and inactive teams.

A locked team is a team you selected and confirmed as part of your fandom identity.

An active team is a team currently counted toward your subscription limit and used for matching, discovery, visibility, or other features.

An inactive team is a locked team that may remain associated with your account but may not be fully active for matching, discovery, visibility, or feature access.

If you downgrade, cancel, fail payment, or lose access to certain subscription features, some teams may become inactive or restricted.

Inactive teams do not necessarily become removable or swappable.

11. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription using the available billing tools, account settings, payment processor portal, app store subscription settings, or other method provided by Team-M8tes.

Cancellation stops future renewals but may not immediately end access to paid features.

Unless otherwise stated, after cancellation, you may continue to access paid features until the end of your current billing period or trial period.

Deleting or deactivating your Team-M8tes account may not automatically cancel your subscription.

You are responsible for canceling your subscription through the applicable billing method.

12. Account Deletion and Billing

If you delete or deactivate your Team-M8tes account, your subscription may remain active unless it is separately canceled.

You are responsible for canceling your subscription before deleting your account if you do not want future charges.

If you subscribed through a third party, such as an app store or payment processor, you may need to cancel directly through that third party.

Team-M8tes may not be able to cancel subscriptions managed entirely by third-party platforms unless those tools are made available to us.

13. Failed Payments

If your payment fails, your subscription may become past due, incomplete, paused, restricted, canceled, or inactive.

Team-M8tes or its payment processor may attempt to charge your payment method again.

We may notify you about failed payments, expiring cards, billing issues, or subscription interruptions.

If payment is not resolved, we may limit, suspend, or remove access to paid features.

Team-M8tes may also restrict matching, messaging, visibility, team activity, or account features until billing is resolved.

14. Refunds

Except where required by law or expressly stated by Team-M8tes, payments are non-refundable.

This includes subscription fees, renewal charges, upgrade charges, partial billing periods, unused time, unused features, inactive use, failure to cancel before renewal, or dissatisfaction with matches or outcomes.

We do not guarantee matches, messages, dates, relationships, compatibility, or any particular result from using Team-M8tes.

Refund requests may be reviewed at our discretion, but we are not required to grant refunds unless required by law.

If your subscription was purchased through a third party, such as an app store, refund requests may need to be submitted directly to that third party and may be governed by that third party’s refund rules.

15. Promotional, Complimentary, and Admin-Granted Access

Team-M8tes may offer promotional, complimentary, influencer, family, beta, test, partner, or admin-granted access.

This access may be offered at our discretion and may be limited by time, features, team limits, location, account status, eligibility, or other conditions.

Promotional or complimentary access may be modified, limited, revoked, or discontinued at any time, subject to applicable law.

Receiving promotional or complimentary access does not guarantee future free access, permanent access, or continued access to all features.

Team-M8tes may use complimentary access for testing, marketing, partnerships, influencer outreach, family and friends access, launch promotions, or other business purposes.

16. Price and Plan Changes

Team-M8tes may change subscription prices, plan names, features, team limits, billing periods, trial offers, promotional terms, or access rules over time.

If we make material changes to an active paid subscription, we may provide notice where required by law.

Price changes may take effect at renewal, at upgrade, at downgrade, at plan change, or as otherwise described in Team-M8tes or required by law.

If you do not agree to a price or plan change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

17. App Store Purchases

If Team-M8tes offers subscriptions through an app store, such as Apple App Store or Google Play, your purchase may be handled by that app store.

In that case:

• The app store may process your payment.
• The app store’s terms and privacy policy may apply.
• Subscription management may occur through your app store account.
• Cancellation may need to be completed through your app store settings.
• Refund requests may need to be submitted to the app store.
• Team-M8tes may have limited ability to modify, cancel, or refund app store purchases directly.

18. Billing Errors

If you believe there has been a billing error, contact us promptly.

Please include the account email, date of charge, charge amount, payment processor information if available, and a description of the issue.

We may review billing issues, but we may need to coordinate with our payment processor or app store.

Failure to report a billing issue promptly may limit our ability to investigate or resolve it.

19. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, reversal, or similar claim, we may suspend or restrict your account while the dispute is reviewed.

We may provide information to the payment processor, card network, bank, or app store to respond to the dispute.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is resolved against Team-M8tes or indicates misuse, fraud, or unpaid access, we may cancel your subscription, restrict your account, or prevent future purchases.

20. No Guarantee of Availability or Results

A paid subscription does not guarantee that you will receive matches, messages, responses, dates, relationships, compatibility, or any particular outcome.

Team-M8tes may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, errors, outages, provider issues, security events, or other reasons.

Subscription access may also depend on account status, payment status, device compatibility, location, platform availability, and compliance with our Terms and policies.

21. Violations and Subscription Access

If we suspend, restrict, or terminate your account because of a violation of our Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, Safety Guidelines, or other policies, you may lose access to paid features.

Account enforcement does not automatically entitle you to a refund, except where required by law.

We may also cancel, restrict, or refuse subscriptions if we believe there is fraud, abuse, harassment, platform manipulation, payment misuse, or safety risk.
